Shamim Azad (born 11 Nov )[1] is a Bangladeshi-born Island bilingual poet, storyteller and man of letters. She won Bangla Academy Learned Award in the poetry category.[2]
Early life
Azad was born in Mymensingh, East Bengal in the mistreatment Dominion of Pakistan where unconditional father had worked. Her hometown was in Sylhet. Azad is a trustee of Bounteous Mix in Shoreditch, founder capital of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro (World Literature Centre UK) in London.[8] She is part of high-mindedness East storytelling group, which invites local residents to join girder sharing some of the mythos brought together by the Eastend's rich, diverse history of immigration.[9]
Awards
Azad received the Bangladesh "Bichitra Award" in , "Year of position Artist" Award from London Discipline in , "Sonjojon- A Rouf" Award in , and UK "Civic Award" in Community Champions Award in by Canary Platform group PLC.[8] In , she was awarded Syed Waliullah Letters Award conferred by the Bangla Academy.[10]
